Philippe Bigotte
"I grew up watching professional dancers including my mom. But I was never ready to start dancing myself. Seeing Philippe dance and share his passion for swing dance was the first step towards my life as a swing dancer. Once I started dancing, he was also a great teacher who knew how to explain and share his knowledge of the Lindy Hop. Thanks Philippe!!"

"Do you want to dance with me?"
Back in 2001, Philippe heard this question for the first time from his sister who wanted to learn the Rock'n'roll dance. When he said "Let's give it a try!", he never looked back and has been dancing ever since.
He was twice vice champion of the French Boogie Woogie championships (categories N2 and N1).
He learned and trained with passionate, professional dancers. His teachers include Ryan Francois and Jenny Thomas who are well-known international teachers from the U.K. Ryan is known for his work as a choreographer in the U.K. show SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE. He also choreographed and danced for various movies.
Philippe comes from Toulouse, France. In 2013, he started teaching Swing dance in Vancouver.
